JSF Brushes Strip Brush Construction |
|
| Strip brush is
produced by putting filament into a "U" shaped metal
base.
The strip brush can be supplied in a straight length, it can be helically formed, or, it can be wound into a coil and then supplied as loose spiral strip brush. The strip brush can also be spirally wound directly onto a shaft or tubular core, and then fastened at each end to form a cylindrical, spirally wound, roller brush. |

Loose Spiral Strip Brush |
||
|
Straight strip brush can be
helically formed. Light and heavy-duty helical strip brushes are assembled
in modular form (as shown on the diagram and photo). This type of
construction is used mainly in the JSF conveyor
belt cleaning brushes. |
|
Straight strip
brush can be spirally wound to form loose spiral strip brush of any
brush outside diameter or inside bore diameter.
Loose spiral strip brush may be fitted onto a
refillable core, shaft or supplied loose for fitting to customer's existing
shaft. JSF engineers will assist with recommendations on fastening the
strip brush to the core or shaft. |

| Straight
Strip Brush for Flat Section Extrusion
Straight strip brush can be fitted into the JSFdesigned flat aluminium extrusion. This flat aluminium extrusion will only accept the JSF 8mm size strip brush. Flat aluminium extrusion can be supplied in lengths of 20' and module widths of 5". This design allows for a medium density block type brush. Applications include golf mats, flat sweeping brushes, block brushes etc. |

Straight
strip brush can be spirally wound onto a core or shaft to dimensions as
required by the customer.
The strip brush is wound according to customer application. For light work requirements, we recommend the strip to be wound 'open' thus achieving a less dense, but more flexible brush. For applications requiring heavy work or where greater pressure is essential, better results are achieved when the strip is closely wound. |
